The Lhasa Apso is a little companion dog who will steal your heart in short order. They are watch dogs with a keen sense of hearing. The little Lhasa has a medium size bark, not a little high pitched yap. They have beautiful long coats which most people prefer to keep short.
When my children where young they had allergies and although I preferred dog with long hair I had to select one who had very little doggie dander and my research showed that the Lhasa fit that bill. We lived with two Lhasa's and never had a problem with allergies.
